NCAA Basketball - Sunday, February 18th

Although we weren't satisfied with yesterday's 3-3 run, we can't be totally disappointed. Anytime you can get out of a day even (minus juice) should be considered a winning day. In sports gambling, you will learn to love a .500 day. Today, 3 plays are on my watch list. Make sure you put them on yours.

3* Play on Georgia Tech +7.5 over Duke

You give Duke one win and they think they are the team to beat again. I'm not disappointed
that the Dukees took out Boston College a few days ago, but the public has already built them up to superstar status as they take on a decent Georgia Tech team today. The Yellow Jackets check into today's game at 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games as a dog of 7-12.5 points. Considering Duke is just 1-4 ATS in their last 5 vs. the ACC, we think that G-Tech stays within the number. Duke wins, but it's a close one.

3* Play on Minnesota +12 over Ohio State

How can we even think to bet on a 9-16 team? Easy, this 9-16 team has a winning home record and the public is all over OSU. Considering this is a televised game, we expect the Gophers to keep it close throughout most of the game. Although Ohio State should win this one easily, we see too much value in the Gophers. Ohio State's 0-6 ATS mark in their last 6 as a fav of 7.0 - 12.5 pts cements it.

3* Play on Northwestern +13 over Illinois

These aren't your normal fighting Illini. Illinois has had several problems this year and have been disappointing their booster club all season long. In today's Big 10 matchup, I expect Northwestern to give the Fighting Illini a fight 'til the end. Although Northwestern might be a poor road team, the Illini are just 1-7 ATS in their last 8 home games vs. a team with a road record of under .400. They are also just 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games following a straight up win. Illini win by 12.
