NCAA Basketball Picks - Sunday, February 11th
After last night's 3-1 mark, we finally have something to be happy about. Our latest run in the college hoops world has been extremely disappointing and we realize we need to pick up the pace immediately. Can we build off of yesterday's success? We hope so.
4* Play on Maryland Pick over Duke
Coach K may be one of the greatest college basketball coaches of all time. Although we aren't thrilled that we have to bet on a Duke team that lost three consecutive games, we realize that we can't pass on a team that is as inexperienced as the Blue Devils are on the road this season (2-2). With the Terrapins checking into today's contest at 13-3 on their home hardwood, we need to jump on the bandwagon here today. Maryland is 5-0 S.U. in their last 5 games following a S.U. loss and 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games following an ATS loss. Knowing that the Blue Devils are just 1-4 ATS in their last 6 road games vs. the ACC cements today's first winner. It's turtle time!
3* Play on Washington -3.5 over Stanford
The talk of the town is that the Cardinal may be one of the upset surprises in this year's NCAA tourney. Sure Stanford has been playing well of late, but the Washington Huskies should not be overlooked. Washington checks into today's game with an extremely impressive 14-1 home mark. Stanford is just 5-3 on the road this season. The Huskies 4-0 ATS record in their last 4 games as a fave of 0.5 to 6.5 points tells us the Huskies are the play today. Washington is also 5-1 ATS in their last 6 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. Huskies roll!
Remember to stick with the SixTalkingHeads Star system!
Best of Luck,
Pikes
