NCAA Basketball Picks - Sunday, January 28
Fresh off the heals of our first losing day of the season (1-2), we are right back in the action. Today we have isolated four top plays that promise to bring home the ca$h!
No more chatter....the hardwood awaits!
3* Play on Iowa +5.5 over Wisconsin
I love a ranked team on the road laying a low number. These games are even more interesting when the public is all over the road fave. In college hoops, the home court means everything. Thousands of fans jumping up and down in support for their team gets me giddy. Wisconsin's 4-0 away mark doesn't help us today, but Iowa's home dominance (11-1) should easily even the playing field. Knowing that the Badgers are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 versus a team with a S.U. win seals the deal. Hawkeyes pull the upset!
3* Play on Georgia -5 over LSU
LSU could be the most overrated team in the country. If you are listening to ESPN or any other "Big Baby" supporter, make sure to tell them that he is no Shaquille O'Neal. Just because you are a little out of shape and go to LSU doesn't mean you can play like Shaq. Enough of the bashing, Georgia has been red hot at home (10-2) and LSU is a disappointing 2-4 on the road. The Bulldog's 5-0 ATS mark versus teams with a winning record above .600 ices this one! I smell a Bulldog blowout!
3* Play on Georgia Tech -5.5 over Virginia Tech
Virginia Tech has played well so far this year and could be the surprise of the NCAA. Unfortunately, they haven't showed their presence on the road as four of their five losses come away from their home court. Knowing that GA Tech is 4-0 ATS as a favorite and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 as a home favorite sits well with us today. Tonight, VA Tech will feel what the sting is all about!
3* Play on Stanford +5 over UCLA
Does anyone remember the Stanford from a few years ago? They're back...and better than ever! Stanford has been the Stanford of old and their 4-0 ATS mark as a home dog proves it! Sure, the Bruins have the fire power, but the Cardinal should be able to hang here today! Cash in on the Cards! It may be Sunday, but it's Payday!
Please remember to stick with the SixTalkingHeads Star System! You will be rewarded!
Best of Luck,
Pikes
